The entire process, from selection through installation.
Either by browsing our granite yard or visiting our designer showroom you’ll want to select which type of material you wish to use for your countertops. We can provide small samples of all of your material selections as well as show you full slabs or sheets to better help you choose your perfect rock.
Once you’ve selected your material you can choose one the following options for requesting an estimate:
• Schedule a time for your sales representative to visit your home or business to take measurements of your existing countertops and cabinets.
• Drop off or fax (931-381-2844) us a copy of your layout drawing with measurements and a signature signing off on the drawing to use to create the estimate.
Confirm the Estimate
Once you’ve reviewed the estimate and signed our estimate we can schedule your project. Please note we usually have a backlog of work, often longer during the summer construction season and winter holiday season. At this time, we have a signed estimate with your material selection and at this time, your deposit is due.
If you need PMG to conduct a tear out of your existing countertops, it must be specified with your salesperson at the order placement. The charge for tear out will be determined by the product being torn out. Upon tear out, PMG will not be liable for any damage done to cabinets, existing backsplash, or drywall. As mentioned in the quote, PMG will not unhook any plumbing or electrical fixtures and will haul off your old tops.
On the specified template date, our experienced countertop designer will come out to your location and create an exact “template” of your countertop to ensure the best possible fit. You will need to be ready by this date 100% – all existing countertops must be clear of items and all new sinks, cook tops, faucet selections, and other appliances should be on-site for accurate measurement taking as there are NO CHANGES made after this time.
Finalizing Proposal and Install Specifics
At this point you will be contacted to either come in or emailed a document to sign and send back confirming all install dates, template measurements, and invoice details.
You will be contacted 5-7 days before the installation of your countertop to confirm your appointment. We will install your new countertop on the specified install date. After the install we will clean and seal your countertops and answer any questions you might have at that time. Once you are fully satisfied, we will provide you with an envelope containing the invoice indicating the remaining balance; and at this time we will collect the remaining balance due.
